Product Overview
YN-A689 Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC) Polymer Waterproof (Sheet) Membrane is a product primarily made from PVC resin, with the addition of various specialized additives and anti-aging agents. It is extruded using advanced equipment and techniques, and can be equipped with a self-adhesive layer.

Product Features
  1. This product is resistant to punctures from special root systems, boasts a long service life, high tensile strength, and substantial elongation, allowing it to adapt to structural deformations.
  2. It exhibits superior aging resistance, low dimensional change rates after heat treatment, and UV resistance, making it suitable for exposed roofing systems.
  3. It is resistant to chemical corrosion and has a wide range of applications, particularly suitable for green roofs.
  4. It offers excellent puncture resistance and high mechanical durability.
  5. It demonstrates good flexibility at low temperatures, is flame-retardant, and self-extinguishing when removed from a fire source.
  6. After thermal welding, the seams become integral with the base material, ensuring strong and secure seams.



Scope of Application
It is applicable for waterproofing projects on the roofs of industrial and civil buildings, artificial lakes, basements, grain depots, tunnels, and subways, and especially for special projects requiring anti-seepage and leak prevention in landfills.


​​​​​​​Construction Method
  1. Loosely Laid Method: Suitable for construction in damp environments with a flat and clean base layer. Joints are welded using an automatic welding machine, and the edges are fixed with trim strips. Non-woven fabric protection measures are applied. This method is widely used for waterproofing roofs, landfills, tunnels, basements, etc.

  2. Adhesive Method: The base layer should be flat, smooth, and dry. Adhesive glue is applied to the PVC membrane's adhesive surface on the base layer, and joints are welded using a welding machine.

  3. The end of the membrane is fixed with metal trim strips, sealed with sealing compound, and then sealed with cement mortar for solidification.

  4. The overlapping width of the membrane should be ≥60mm for a single weld seam and ≥80mm for double weld seams.
