DETAIL

YN-C801 Tar-Free Polyurethane (911) Waterproof Paint

Product Overview
YN-C801 Tar-Free Polyurethane (911) Waterproof Paint is a reactive polymer-based waterproof coating, consisting of Component A and Component B, commonly known as "911". Component A is a polyurethane prepolymer, while Component B is a curing agent, refined from fillers, vulcanizing agents, catalysts, and additives. When used, Component A and Component B are mixed in a certain proportion, stirred evenly, and then applied to the substrate. Through reaction and consolidation, it forms an integral and elastic waterproof film.

Product Features
  1. The coating film possesses rubber elasticity, excellent elongation, and high tensile strength.
  2. It exhibits high temperature resistance and low temperature flexibility.
  3. Easy to apply, the coating film is seamless and highly integral.
  4. It has a certain degree of corrosion resistance.
  5. Before application, it is an amorphous viscous substance, making it easy to handle and finish on any complex substrate.

Scope of Application
It is suitable for national key projects and general waterproofing projects, including waterproofing for basements, roofs, reservoirs, swimming pools, kitchens, bathrooms, tunnels, showers, and other similar applications. Additionally, it is applicable to various concealed waterproofing works.

Construction Method
  1. The surface of the substrate should be flat and dry, with any loose soil and cement residue thoroughly removed before applying the primer. Internal and external corners should be rounded off, with internal corners larger than 10mm and external corners larger than 10mm.
  2. The mixture should be strictly prepared according to the weight ratio of Component A and Component B based on the construction quantity, and should be stirred evenly before use.
  3. The mixed coating should be evenly applied using a rubber or plastic scraper, with a uniform thickness of generally 1.5mm-2.0mm. It should be applied in 3-4 coats, with each subsequent coat applied perpendicular to the previous one after the previous coat has formed a film.
  4. Reference usage: for a thickness of 1.5mm, the usage is ≥2.2kg/m², and for a thickness of 2mm, the usage is ≥2.6kg/m².
  5. To increase strength, a layer of glass fiber cloth can be added, with the coating thickness below the reinforcement not less than 1.0mm and the coating thickness above not less than 0.5mm.
  6. Termination and edge treatment: Additional coating should be applied for sealing, and local nodes should be reinforced.
  7. Protective layer: The waterproof coating surface should be isolated and protected according to design requirements to prevent damage to the waterproof coating layer.
