YN-C804 JS Composite Cement-based Waterproof Coating
Product Overview
YN-C804 JS Composite Cement-based Waterproof Coating is a cutting-edge waterproofing solution, leveraging advanced technologies from abroad. Comprising a dual-component blend of polymer organic liquid and inorganic powder, it forms a robust and durable waterproof film upon application. Customizable in various colors, this coating serves multiple waterproofing purposes.
Product characteristics
- It can be directly applied on various substrates, whether wet or dry, without dripping on vertical surfaces.
- The coating is tough, has strong adhesion, and exhibits excellent water resistance and weather resistance.
- The film is odorless.
- It can be applied for waterproofing on walls of various structural layers such as cement and mortar, with strong bonding strength.
- It is easy to apply, dries quickly, and shortens the construction period.
- With excellent performance, it prevents the waterproof layer from bulging even on wet substrates.
Scope of Application
This product is suitable for waterproofing in underground spaces, bathrooms, pools, tennis courts, and swimming pools, providing even better waterproofing effects. Additionally, it can be used as an elastic putty for exterior wall waterproofing, crack resistance, and seepage prevention. It can also serve as an adhesive and sealing material for bonding tiles, mosaics, and other purposes.
Construction Method
- Level the base surface to ensure it is flat, firm, clean, and free of visible water.
- Before starting full-scale construction, reinforce areas such as ditches, pipes, corners, and seams.
- During construction, mix the powder (or 42.5P cement) with the liquid material according to the ratio provided by the manufacturer until evenly blended. The mixed coating should be used within 40 minutes.
- Apply the coating using either a roller brush or by scraping. Allow each layer to surface-dry for 3-5 hours and thoroughly dry for 12 hours.
- Apply the first coat of coating thinly, preferably at a thickness of 0.2-0.3mm. Subsequent coats should be applied at a thickness of 0.4-0.5mm per coat. Apply the coats in a crisscross pattern to ensure full coverage. If excess material accumulates, it should be treated appropriately to prevent cracking.
Precautions
- It is recommended to use up the coating in one go after opening. Any unused material should be tightly sealed.
- When the coating has been stored for a long time, a thin layer of glue may form on its surface. This can be removed before use without affecting the coating's effectiveness.
- The ideal construction temperature is above 5°C, and it is important to maintain good air circulation in the construction environment.
- Before the coating film is fully dried, it is strictly prohibited to walk on the waterproof layer or stack hard or sharp objects on it to prevent damage.
- The coating film should be applied evenly to meet the required standards. There should be no peeling, cracking, accumulation, bubbling, or chalking.
Packaging and Storage
- The liquid material is packaged in sealed plastic buckets, while the powder material is stored in sealed plastic bags.
- The storage temperature for the liquid material should be above 5°C, and the adhesive material should be stored in a cool and dry place.
- The shelf life is 6 months. If the product exceeds this period, it should be re-inspected and confirmed to be qualified before use.
